 Rookpatch is truly a cowardly tom. With not much faith himself, and others either, he is over-paranoid. Every little thing can make this tom jump, which causes others to look at him in a weird way. Rookpatch always resorts to thinking of the worst that could happen, a bad habit for him, because it furthers his cowardly condition. Rook also does get scared in tight places, he doesn't like the feeling of being cooped up. He has to have the freedom to run through the open moors, and would rather do it by himself. The odd thing is though, Rook likes to be alone, but he gets scared when he is alone. So, this tom can be difficult to get to know, with how odd he is in his behavior, as well as how scared he gets when someone approaches him. Rookpatch isn't the best in conversations either, he can't seem to form correct sentences when talking to another cat. 
However recently, after being introduced to Marigoldrise by Driftstream and falling in love, his paranoia and fear seems to be dulled around her and he's also working relatively hard on talking correctly and may occasionally be able to spit out a small sentence without too much stuttering. But should he be separated from his mate, his fear comes crashing back full-force and causes him to become reclusive like he was before, unless he's with his close friend Blazingstorm.
