Grousestar has always been a quick and energetic cat, always running around doing something, not quite satisfied with himself until he's been worked to near collapse. And even now that he's leader, he still enjoys running around, being busy, and almost appears to be as youthful as he once was, though he's getting close to 50 moons of age now. 
And he still, in a way, has the mentality of a young cat, always joking and smiling and laughing, socializing with the warriors of the clan as much as he can, giving him the care-free, lighthearted demeanor that he has, which makes it so easy to be able to come to talk to him. He's the farthest thing from mean and scary that you could possibly get!
The tom is always speaking with others, seeing if they're doing okay, questioning about any problems they might be having, searching for ways to improve and help his clan in any way he can and making his appearance known, wanting cats to know that they can talk to him if they need to talk to him.
Some may question if he's truly capable of handling the pressure of being the leader of the clan due to his innocence and apparent lack of seriousness, but they will find that he will come out stronger than before, that Grousestar, can, in fact, be a very serious cat when the situation arises, though he does have a problem with trusting cats too quickly and this may lead to problems further down his leadership, but for now, that hasn't harmed him in the slightest, but allowed him to make many friends. 
So if ever you find that you need a cat to talk to who won't judge or ridicule you, but offer you nothing but advice and kindness, Grousestar is your cat and he's almost always ready to be spoken to.
